Marilee is a grammar-loving editor / journalist / redhead currently based in Ocala, Fla. Interests include boring her friends to tears with long accounts of the latest “how to”  book she’s editing, ampersands, AP Style, and trying to convert strangers to Apple.

Marilee is also a self-described nerd (she should know, after working in an engineering communications office), and thus understands — and gravitates toward — passionate people. After all, passionate people run the businesses that change the world; or, at least their corner of it. Still, no matter the level of one’s enthusiasm or clarity of vision, Marilee stands by the mantra: “Everyone needs an editor.”
